the hearts and gratitude is a series of subtle dedications written as an expression of appreciation and acknowledgement for the people held with sincerity. these pieces are personal reflections, an attempt to put into words the gratitude, things left unsaid but deeply meant. each piece is written with intention. not only to remember, but to honor presence, weight, and meaning as they were understood. each letter is crafted so that its opening letters form the name of the person it honors, set as the title—a deliberate way to make the dedication personal.
each piece reflects a perspective shaped by particular moments and understandings. some of these connections remain, some have faded into distance, and some were only meant to pass through briefly. it exists as a handwritten gift for valentine’s day, intentionally offered to honor hearts, and the significance of each connection. as not everything is meant to stay, but that does not make what was shared any less true.
this series is simply an act of acknowledgement.
